What if technology in Africa powered innovation, safeguarded rights, and ensured progress for everyone?
The Digital Initiative for Innovation and Development (DIID) works to shape how technology is built and governed in Nigeria and across Africa. We focus on digital transformation that strengthens people, communities, and institutions. Our work starts from a simple belief: technology should serve people.
We work through research, advocacy, capacity building, and dialogue. From government agencies to civil society and the private sector, we bring people together to design digital policies and systems that are fair, open, and rooted in African realities.
Our goal is clear: Africa should not just consume technology. Africa should shape it.
